Hi,
I'm a Training Head at an engineering college in NOIDA. A couple of my fellow Training and Placement members in the college assure me good companies come down to campus and select students only when the HR is (quietly) paid a sum of at least 2-5 lakhs. My own industrial experience tells me that no HR can afford to go to campus and select the wrong kind of talent for any amount of money - it would mean putting your entire career at stake. I'd really appreciate a candid picture of what really happens during campus interviews.
